Karrimor is a British brand of backpacks, outdoor and sports equipment, and clothing, and also refers to the companies of the same name, Karrimor International Ltd (to 2004) and Karrimor Ltd (2004 onward), as well as the separate company Karrimor SF from 1998. The company was initially called the Karrimor Bag Company in 1946, and was founded by Charles and Mary Parsons and her sister Grace Davies, who hand-sewed cotton-duck bicycle saddlebags from the upstairs of their Lancashire cycle shop. |
